You know what’s kind of beautiful?
In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”
I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.

Please be on time.
Its one thing if me and you are meeting somewhere and you’re late. Then I am just irritated. But if you are picking me up from my house and you are late, you have my parents to deal with. Whether or not they like you can be a major factor into the continuing or initiating of whatever is going on.
You should call a minimum of 15 minutes ahead of time to let me know you are going to be late, and an accurate time of your arrival.
If you are late, first thing out of your mouth when you are on my porch better be an apology and a sufficient reason to explain your tardiness.
You lose major points if said tardiness was brought on by you.
